We had about a dozen campaigners (including a strong
contingent from IWA South London Branch) out on the towpath between Little
Venice and Paddington Basin with leaflets and petitions, to catch the commuters
on their way from their offices to Paddington Station.

It started slowly at about 4pm, got busy just before 5pm,
and bad light and rain brought things to an end just before 6pm, by which time
we'd nearly exhausted our supply of leaflets.
A successful "curtain raiser" for the campaign weekend.
